Nitedals Hjelpestikker is a well-known and popular brand in Norway that was founded in 1922. But Norwegian match manufacturing actually dates back to 1838, and the Nitedal match factory was founded in 1863. The factory in Nitedal was in operation for 32 years before most of its production was relocated to Grønvold in Norway.
Our aim is to always produce a match that is safe, reliable and environmentally sound. Our consumers deserve high-quality matches that cannot self-ignite, do not break easily or lose bits of their head on the striking strip.
Our matches are subject to higher requirements than the European standard (EN 1783:1997), and our testing and analysis methods are more complex. Nitedals fire cubes are the natural choice for lighting the fire, BBQ or sauna, and are ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. These fire cubes are made from compressed sawdust and provide a natural and odorless fire.
Place 2-3 briquettes among the wood or in the BBQ. Light the fire with the long Nitedals matches that came with the fire cubes.
