Where there is fire, there are matches. And most likely, those matches are made by us, Swedish Match Industries AB, as we have been one of the world's leading matchstick manufacturers for over 150 years. Our brands and products are represented in more than 100 countries.

Matches from Sweden with care

All of our matches are made in Sweden, with around 4 million matchboxes produced daily in our factories in Vetlanda and Tidaholm.

We have more than 30 brands and produce matchboxes in ten different sizes – from small pocket-sized matchboxes to household packs. About 40% of our production is sold in Europe, the rest is distributed to countries in Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, Oceania and the Middle East.

Our 200 employees – 42 in Vetlanda, and 158 in Tidaholm – help make your cosy moments by the fire possible.
